Day 1 of the PDC

Today was the preconference for the PDC.  I went to the concurrent / parallel programming session.  All in all, I thought it to be pretty beginner-ish.  Left early to go back to the hotel to watch the Phillies.  Hopefully tomorrow starting the cloud computing stuff will be much more interesting.
