Seaside

I was catching up on Leo Laporte's FLOSS podcast today and one of the episodes was on Seaside and Squeak and I thought they sounded pretty cool and will warrant my investigation at some time in the future.

Seaside is an open source implementation of Smalltalk with addon's for rapid web development, and Squeak is the basis of the OLPC project out of MIT.  This is a really cool environment and had a one click install (available here). This is a screen shot of this running on my macbook.

Looks like I might have to brush up on my smalltalk as this could be cool for throwing together some web apps very quickly.
